Searching the Web using Scirus

Embase provides an easy way for you to extend your search to the worldwide web using Scirus, Elsevier’s free science-specific search engine. Your most recent search is reproduced in a Scirus query box at the bottom of the Search Results page. Simply click on the Scirus Search button to execute your search in a new search window on Scirus.

Note:

Because Scirus search syntax differs from that of Embase, it may be necessary to modify your search once you are in Scirus. For example, you will probably want to remove any Embase specific field codes that you have used.
