Articles in Press

This option allows you to limit retrieval to only Articles in Press. For example, if you retrieve a vast number of hits, you may decide to limit to most recent ones.

Articles in Press are:
-          Sourced from journals produced by 6 publishers; Elsevier, Springer, Karger, Nature, Cambridge University Press and IEEE, who between them publish over 1000 journals covered in Embase
-          Indexed with Emtree from titles & abstracts only. Mapping and explosion are possible, but subheadings, drug/device trade names & manufacturers, molecular sequence numbers and CAS numbers are not indexed.
-          Replaced by the published article once this has been received and indexed
-           
NOTE: Indexing of the published article is extended based upon the full text of the article. However, as the choice of terms may differ from those selected for Articles in Press, initial indexed terms are not necessarily retained in the full index.
