Logging in / out

Subscribers with IP access can carry out searches in Embase without logging in. However, personalized services such as Saved Searches and Email Alerts, are only accessible after logging in with a username and password. From within your IP range you can log in at any stage, provided you have a registered user account.

From any Embase page, click on Log in, type in your username and password in the pop up window and then login at the bottom of the window. You will remain logged in until:

  • You click Logout
  • One hour of inactivity has passed
  • You close your Web browser

If you do not have IP access, you will first see the non-ip landing page and be prompted to log in with your pre-registered user name and password. To terminate your Embase session, simply click Log out at the upper right corner of the screen.
